Orléans: A Pioneer of New Orleans Jazz
Harry Connick Jr.'s alter ego, Orléans, is a jazz trio that pays homage to the rich musical heritage of New Orleans. The group's self-titled debut album (1995) features a blend of traditional and contemporary jazz, with Connick's soulful vocals and virtuosic piano playing taking center stage.
Orléans' music is characterized by its infectious rhythms, clever arrangements, and heartfelt lyrics.
