<P.O.D., short for Payable on Death, is an American Christian nu metal band from San Diego, California. Formed in 1997, the group consists of Sonny Sandoval (vocals), WENDEE (rap vocals and guitar), Traa Daniels (drums), and Marcos Curiel (guitar). Known for their energetic live performances and catchy, heavy sound, P.O.D. has built a loyal fan base across various genres, including nu metal, rap rock, and Christian music.
<P.O.D.'s breakthrough album, "The Fundamental Elements of Southtown," released in 1999, spawned the hit single "Southtown" and introduced the band's unique blend of aggressive riffs, infectious hooks, and positive lyrics.
